Zeta tyres on a global scale

Zeta was launched as a tyre brand in 2006 by one of China’s oldest and largest tyre manufacturers, Qingdao Sentury Tire Co. Ltd. The plant has been in operation for more than 50 years and started in France in partnership with tyre giant Michelin. This experience of more than half a century is also used to develop Zeta tyres, which have become hugely popular in North America, where Zeta is one of the top 3 most sought-after budget tyre brands. From 19 December 2022, Qingdao Sentury Tire Co. Ltd has entered into a partnership with legendary premium tyre manufacturer Nokian and now half of the Nokian tyres on the market are produced in the same factories as Zeta. This is a clear testament to the quality and suitability of Zeta tyres for Nordic driving conditions.

Zeta tyres in Latvia

Zeta tyres have successfully gained popularity in the USA as well as in much of Europe and are gradually gaining popularity in the Latvian market thanks to excellent Scandinavian soft compound and studded winter tyre models such as the Zeta Antarctica Sport, which is distinguished by its excellent performance both in snow and on icy road surfaces. The brand’s range also includes excellent UHP or high performance summer tyre models such as Zeta Alventi and Zeta Impero.

What makes Zeta tyres suitable for the Latvian market is their very high price/performance ratio. The reasonably priced Zeta range includes tyres manufactured in the same factory as Nokian tyres and tyres for Boeing 737 aircraft.

Zeta brand philosophy

Qingdao Sentury Tire Co. Ltd. tyre factory is known as one of the largest and most advanced tyre manufacturing and testing factories in China. Not only does the plant produce well-known tyre brands such as Maxtrek, Pace and Nokian, but also tyres that are standard on Boeing 737 aircraft.

Zeta tyres were originally produced for the US and Canadian markets, with the US North and Canada at similar latitudes to Northern Europe. This makes the brand’s objectives and philosophy in product manufacturing relevant not only to its original target audience, but also to the Latvian motorist.
