TheYokohama iceGUARD iG53 winter tyre combines innovative tread design with a whole host of the latest technologies to help you tackle even the harshest driving conditions.
The directional tread blocks incorporate thousands of 3D sipes to improve grip in snow and ice and prevent uneven siping when manoeuvring.
A range of elastomers are added to the tyre’s rubber compound, making it adaptable to a wide range of temperatures without sacrificing flexibility. A thermodynamic layer under the tread prevents the tyre from heating up, reducing fuel consumption.
