ADVAN Sport V105 equipment

In line with Daimler’s stringent requirements, this tyre model features a new, unique asymmetric tread design. This is complemented by directional elements, allowing the comfort properties of the asymmetric tread to be maintained while retaining the dynamic advantages of the directional elements.

The unique tread design features five massive longitudinal tread strips. In line with Daimler’s requirements, the tread strips in the middle section of the tyre differ from the side strips not only in design, but even in hardness. This has enabled improved stability and manoeuvrability even at high speeds.

The Yokohama ADVAN Sport V105 excels on wet asphalt. This is thanks to a highly developed drainage system. These drains quickly and efficiently rid the tyre tread of all excess water, reducing the risk of aquaplaning and improving grip and manoeuvrability on wet asphalt.

The tyres are made using the latest generation of synthetic materials. This has enabled the tyre to be significantly lighter, reducing rolling resistance and thus improving fuel economy.
