CrossClimate 2 equipment
Michelin CrossClimate 2 tyres feature a symmetrical, directional tread design with EverGrip technology sipes embedded in the massive blocks. These sipes transform into drainage channels as the tread wears, allowing the tyre to retain a large part of its grip characteristics even with the minimum permitted tread depth.
The tread is made of two layers, the upper one being enriched with elastomers. The tyres therefore retain their flexibility more effectively at low temperatures. The lower layer is made of a thermally insulating layer, allowing this tyre model to maintain excellent grip under heavy loads and high temperatures.
The tread blocks have small protrusions or “snow claws” which significantly improve performance in snow and on ice. This model has won a whole range of accolades and awards, which attest to its quality and suitability for almost any driving conditions.
