Ice Zero FR features:

Unlike older Pirelli soft-compound tire models, the Pirelli Ice Zero FR features a directional tread pattern. The number of tread blocks has also been increased, which significantly improves the tire’s performance in snow.

The symmetrically arranged tread blocks are densely packed with countless thousands of 3D sipes featuring a self-locking system. These micro-grooves provide much better traction on ice and also help dry the contact surface with the road.

The increased number of tread blocks has also allowed for a corresponding increase in the number of drainage channels, reducing the risk of hydroplaning and improving performance in slush.
