Ice Zero FR equipment:

The Pirelli Ice Zero FR features a directional tread pattern, unlike older Pirelli soft compound tyre models. The number of tread blocks has also been increased, which significantly improves the tyre’s performance in snow.

The symmetrically spaced tread blocks are densely packed with countless thousands of 3D sipes with a self-locking system. These micro-slots allow much better traction on ice and also dry the contact surface.

The increased number of tread blocks has also led to a corresponding increase in the number of drainage channels, reducing the aquaplaning pattern and improving wet performance.

Pirelli Ice Zero FR is made from a high-quality composite material, supplemented with polymer compounds. This has allowed the tyre to remain flexible over a wide temperature range, as well as increasing abrasion resistance.
