Reliable tyres in bad weather
One of the main features of this type of tread design is the increased amount of edge grip in the tyre. Most of these are formed by the opening of the many sipes, which provide better grip in adverse weather conditions. When it comes to the tyre’s behaviour in bad weather, it is impossible not to notice the characteristics of the Silica Tech rubber compound, as more than half of the composition is silica. This type of compound improves wet grip.
*Warning: summer tyres made in China may be marked M + S. It should be borne in mind that the Chinese territory extends into different climatic zones where, in some places, meteorological winter never sets in. So, these tyres can be used there all year round, while in Latvia it doesn’t work!
