Zeta Antarctica Ice winter tyres feature an aggressive directional tread or “herringbone”. This tread design was chosen because it is effective on both wet asphalt and snow. The tread can be studded, improving the tyre’s performance on ice and extending its life by up to 40%.

The V-shaped tread blocks are densely packed with sipes that work in a similar way to studs. They cut into ice and packed snow with sharp edges, improving grip on these slippery surfaces.

A range of chemical elements and elastomers are added to the rubber. These help the tyre to remain flexible in extremely cold temperatures and absorb water. As you know, a flexible tyre grips the road much better and also wears more evenly.
