More about Westlake SW608 tyres
V tread design
This model was developed in close collaboration with European tyre manufacturers, as evidenced by the symmetrical V-shaped tread pattern that is typical of our region. It has five longitudinal ribs separated from each other by wide drainage grooves. This structure gives the tyre excellent directional stability at all speeds. The structure of the centre section, consisting of two continuous ribs, ensures rigidity and resistance to deformation during tyre movement.
Excellent traction in snow
It is worth noting the tread block structure, which is similar to what we are used to seeing on winter tyres from leading European manufacturers. The tread contains many small sipes which create many points of grip during movement. Thanks to this, the tyre performs well on snowy surfaces. In addition, the shoulder areas contain a large number of so-called “snow catchers”. These cross grooves provide additional grip
