The tread pattern shall be produced in a manner characteristic of directional and symmetrical tyres. There is a wide rib in the centre. The solid design and massive dimensions ensure directional stability and, by interacting with the shoulder blocks, ensure the stability of the car’s driving speed. The drainage grooves, with the exception of the two main central channels, are at a high angle to the direction of movement and are increased in width. This reduces the risk of both aquaplaning and rolling. Efficiency on icy surfaces and compacted snow is achieved by thousands of sharp edges formed by slats. The wavy shape of the sipes significantly increases their length and at the same time improves grip.
