The Westlake RP28 summer tyre is designed for compact cars. The model is produced for cars fitted with wheels from R13 to R16. The Asian manufacturer classifies the model in the Touring category, highlighting its driving comfort, shorter braking distances in adverse weather conditions and strong fuel economy characteristics.
Key features of the WestLake RP28
– the newly developed tread pattern design provides the perfect balance between all key performance characteristics without compromising on any of them;
– the rubber compound, more than half of which is silicon-based, ensures tyre wear resistance and grip on wet road surfaces;

This can be seen in the balance between aquaplaning resistance and noise level, both improved thanks to 3D technology. The silicon-containing rubber compound further improves the above-mentioned and several other tyre performance characteristics. More than half of the compound is silica, which simultaneously increases elasticity and tensile, compressive strength.
