Maxxis Premitra HP5
One of the new products from the famous Taiwanese manufacturer! The Maxxis Premitra HP5 summer tyre belongs to the UHP (Ultra High Performance) category and is designed to withstand high loads at high speeds. This tyre model is suitable for both everyday driving and more powerful machines for the track! The model is known for its excellent stability and reliable grip even at high speeds in all summer weather conditions.
Maxxis Premitra HP5 main features:
+ Silicon in the rubber compound improves grip in poor weather conditions;
+ Improved centre section design for exceptional grip and stability at high speeds;
+ Extended shoulder blocks improve stability during manoeuvring.
Improved tyre construction
Compared to the previous generation model, the tyre shows better directional stability and overall handling when manoeuvring. This is largely due to the design of the tyre centre section. The size of the longitudinal ribs in the centre has increased considerably, making them even more resistant to deformation.

The new Silicon Compound
One of the main improvements to the tyre is the new rubber formula. More than half of the rubber is silica, which significantly improves wet grip for superior car control. In addition, the rubber is formulated with a new generation of polymers, which ensure the tread retains its shape and flexibility even after tens of thousands of kilometres!
Shoulder blocks that extend to the side
Another feature of the tread is the design of the shoulder blocks. They have been lengthened so that a significant part of them ends up on the side of the tyre. This solution significantly increases the contact patch during manoeuvring and cornering, thus ensuring better grip in these driving conditions.
*Warning: summer tyres manufactured in China may be marked M+S. It should be noted that the Chinese territory extends into different climatic zones, where in some places the meteorological winter never sets in. So, these tyres can be used there all year round, while in Latvia it doesn’t work!
