Hankook Optimo K415

The South Korean tyre giant is launching the new Hankook K415 Optimo , which is classified as an all-terrain tyre and is designed for different classes of cars.

The asymmetric tread pattern design stands out for its original look. Due to the tread pattern’s four wide longitudinal grooves, the tyre effectively combats aquaplaning, which significantly increases safety when driving on wet roads.

Key features of the Hankook K415 Optimo:

+ Unique asymmetric tread pattern for excellent grip on dry and wet surfaces;
+ The Hankook K-415’s large contact patch area gives it excellent straight-line stability and brakingperformance;
+ Four high-efficiency water-draining grooves remove water from the contact patch, preventing aquaplaning even at high speeds;
+ wide shoulder areas increase confidence when turning;
+ High silica rubber compound for excellent grip in wet conditions.

More about Hankook Optimo K415 tyres

The Hankook K415 Optimo’s two additional central ribs, separated by water drainage channels in the tread blocks, are designed to provide excellent grip on both dry and wet surfaces. The sloping shoulder areas, also separated by transverse channels in separate blocks, provide excellent cornering grip and significantly increase ride comfort. In addition, the rounded profile of the shoulder zones provides resistance to deformations that occur during cornering.

The tyre’s rubber compound has a high silica content for better grip, especially on water-covered roads. In addition, the inclusion of other high-quality components in the rubber makes this tyre highly resistant to wear, giving it a long service life.

*Warning: summer tyres manufactured in China may be marked M+S. It should be borne in mind that the Chinese territory extends into different climatic zones where, in some places, the meteorological winter never sets in. So, these tyres can be used there all year round, while in Latvia it doesn’t work!
