More about Hankook Kinergy eco K425 tyres

The Hankook Kinergy Eco K425 is a carefully engineered product with safety in mind, especially when braking on wet roads. The tread has 3 main water outlets designed for maximum water efficiency. The result is reduced braking distances on wet roads and reduced risk of aquaplaning. The tread’s stiff ribs and wide blocks in the shoulder areas provide excellent grip and manoeuvrability.

When it comes to ride comfort, the Hankook K425 uses a special ‘Vibration Control Technology‘ that reduces vibration and prevents the tyre from being affected by temperature fluctuations. The resulting innovations have made the tyre very popular with consumers.

Kinergy – by definition means the energy released by an object in motion. This name was chosen for its association with the environment and for its outstanding safety performance. This tyre is characterised by low rolling resistance. The rubber compound consists of a combination of different materials such as nano-sized silica particles and a new rubber compound. The result is a win-win situation for drivers and the environment, as fuel consumption and CO2 emissions are reduced.

*Warning: summer tyres made in China may be marked M+S. It should be borne in mind that the Chinese territory extends into different climatic zones where, in some places, the meteorological winter never sets in. So, these tyres can be used there all year round, while in Latvia it doesn’t work!
