SportContact 7 equipment

The Continental SportContact 7 UHP (Ultra High Performance), or high performance summer tyre, features a sporty asymmetric tread pattern. This design, with large, continuous sections within it, provides excellent grip and manoeuvrability on dry asphalt. Meanwhile, the unique rubber compound, in tandem with the shape of the drainage channels developed specifically for this tyre model, ensures excellent grip, manoeuvrability and low risk of aquaplaning, even on wet asphalt at high driving speeds.

The Black Chili rubber compound has been developed specifically for this tread design. As with other Continental tyre models, it uses special polymers, allowing the rubber compound to react and adapt to different driving conditions. This has led to a significant improvement in almost all of the tyre's performance characteristics. Compared to the previous generation of tyres, the Continental SportContact 7 delivers performance figures that are several tens of percent higher.
