Ice Activa ICE-2 equipment

The Nankang Ice Activa ICE-2 winter tyre features an extra deep and aggressive tread pattern. This design provides excellent grip and manoeuvrability in both snow and slush, as well as making it easier to start driving and reducing the risk of aquaplaning.

The massive, V-shaped tread blocks are armed with several thousand sipes. These sipes are arranged in several directions, improving grip and manoeuvrability on both packed snow and lightly icy road surfaces. The sipes act like studs, digging into slippery winter road surfaces with sharp edges.

The rubber compound of this tyre model is based on leading Nankang technology. The chemical elements added to it improve the tyre's abrasion resistance and help it remain flexible in low temperatures.
