Rock 868S Features

The tire’s tread pattern features an asymmetrical design, making the ride quieter and more comfortable. The design incorporates subtle directional elements that help the tire perform better on snow. The asymmetrically arranged tread blocks are densely packed with several thousand sipes, whose sharp edges literally bite into the slippery surface of the ice, creating traction.

A range of elastomers has been added to the tire’s rubber compound, allowing the tire to maintain its elasticity and, consequently, high grip levels across a wide temperature range! The tire’s contact patch with the road is drained by wide drainage grooves, which, in tandem with the sipes, disperse water and snow.
