Tyre Changes at MMK Tyre Centre

Tyres are mounted and balanced in our tyre centre using modern, high-quality German, Italian, and American equipment. We fit tyres from 12 to 22 inches, including all sizes and complexities. Our specialised equipment also allows us to fit extra-large tyres and Run Flat tyres.

How to Change Tyres

Check

Rims, tyres, valves, and other components are checked to make sure everything is in top condition.

Processing

Rims are treated with a special sealant to ensure a maximum seal between the tyre and wheel.

Tyre Assembly

We fit tyres, balance them, adjust wheel alignment when necessary, and check tyre air pressure.

What Does Tyre Balancing Involve?

Preparation

After the tyres are mounted on the rims, they are inflated to the air pressure specified by the manufacturer. Each vehicle has its own optimal tyre pressure for a safe and comfortable ride.

Balancing

A specialised balancing stand simulates wheel rotation in real driving conditions to pinpoint potential defects, misalignments, and imbalances. Improperly balanced wheels can cause vibrations that reduce driving comfort, contribute to wear and tear of the rolling components, and impair the car’s handling.

Installing the Weights

Based on the measurements of the tyre balancing machine, tyre balancing weights of the appropriate mass are attached to the wheel at the appropriate locations to ensure proper balance.

Check

After the weights have been installed, the wheel is re-tested on a tyre balancing machine to check the effectiveness of the correction and to ensure optimal driving comfort.

Tyre Storage

At MMK Tyre Centre, we also provide storage for seasonal tyres with or without rims. Our customers’ tyres are stored in a safe place, under appropriate conditions, ensuring they remain undamaged during the storage period.
