Ventus Prime3 K125 characteristics:
- Design specifics. The tyre tread structure has a metal partition in the middle which, together with the enlarged shoulder blocks, has a positive effect on handling. The effect can be observed during small steering manoeuvres, giving the driver an excellent handling feeling.
- Grip on dry asphalt. Ventus Prime 3 was launched in 2016 and has improved grip on dry road surfaces. It's designed more for different types of dry asphalt. Increased grip was achieved through a new tread design and more rigidity in the tread blocks. These innovations led to an increase in the tyre's contact area with the road, which was reflected in the grip characteristics.
- Wet grip. To maximise wet grip, the manufacturer introduced 4 deep channels in the tread design. They play a key role in the almost ideal water drainage system. It should be noted that the depth of the channels is not uniform. This is due to the developers' desire to maintain excellent grip in different weather conditions. In addition to the main outlets, a system of slats supplements the performance of the drainage channels, creating an effective system that protects the vehicle from aquaplaning.
- Tread features. In addition to the above tread features, it is worth noting the rigid central rib, as well as the shoulder blocks, which are distinguished by their massive structure. This has led to improved handling and stability at high speeds. The presence of several side ribs reduced rolling resistance. This has a positive effect on fuel efficiency.
