Tread

This model features an asymmetric tread pattern that increases comfort and makes the ride quieter, and allows the tread blocks to be arranged in different directions. This arrangement helps to avoid side slides and improves performance in the snow. The tread blocks incorporate both self-locking sipes and polygonal studs. The sipes serve as sharp edges that create grip even on microscopic irregularities in the ice surface. The studs, which have an analogous function to the blades, are also arranged asymmetrically. This arrangement, together with the fact that the studs are polygonal in shape, significantly improves performance on ice.
