Universal tread pattern Computer modelling was used to develop the tread pattern, resulting in the best block placement over the entire tyre area. Three new shaped blocks in the central part of the tread significantly increase the grip area and stability during driving. The blocks in the side area provide protection against damage and increase cornering stability. The side area also contains a large number of recesses and protrusions for additional safety and grip. A large number of water drains increase wet grip. In addition, the tiny grooves absorb noise, making the ride more comfortable. By increasing the depth of the tread pattern, it has been possible to increase water and sand permeability and increase the tyre's abrasion resistance. A new dual-layer rubber compound was used in the development of this model. The lower layer is stiffer. This allows the pressure inside the tyre to be distributed evenly, which ensures even tread wear. The top layer is softer, which increases grip on both dry and wet roads (for excellent handling).
