Observe GSi-5 equipment

Toyo Observe GSi-5 features an aggressive directional tread design. Its massive, symmetrically spaced blocks are based on Arrow Lift technology, significantly improving performance in deep snow and slush.

Performance in wet and extremely wet conditions is also enhanced by a de-restricted drainage channel system. Designed using 3D modelling techniques, it optimally removes water, snow and mud from the contact surface, reducing the risk of aquaplaning.

The rubber compound ofthe Observe GSi-5 tyres is compounded with walnut shell particles for excellent ice grip, even partially replacing studs. Natural carbon is also added, allowing the tyre to absorb moisture from the road surface, drying it out.

Spider Sipe's spider-shaped sipes also significantly improve grip on ice, cutting into slippery surfaces with thousands of sharp cants. The sipes also help to wick water away from the tyre contact patch.
