The Kumho ECSTA PS71 UHP summer tyre model features a sporty asymmetric tread pattern. This design is seen on most modern summer tyres as it combines excellent ride comfort and safety characteristics even at high speeds.

To reduce the risk of aquaplaning on wet asphalt when driving dynamically, this tyre model features a highly developed drainage or water channel system. It quickly and efficiently removes water from the tyre's grip point, reducing the risk of aquaplaning to a minimum.
