Taking a cue from a Finnish tyre manufacturer, the Kumho WinterCraft SUV ice WS31 has had the number of radii increased by a significant reduction in size. 200 radii have been arranged in 20 rows, some of them in the central tread block row. This gives the tyre increased grip on ice, making it an excellent ally on icy or dirty country roads. The three-stage sipes make this tyre more manoeuvrable on both packed snow and urban asphalt.
