Goodyear UltraGrip Performance+
Description
The Goodyear UltraGrip Performance+ is one of the best Scandinavian winter tyres in the world. It offers excellent grip even in the harshest winter driving conditions, as well as increased wear resistance and driving comfort.
Key features of Goodyear UltraGrip Performance+:
+ Increased number of blocks in the central part of the tread improves grip on snowy roads;
+ Optimised tread centre design for increased directional stability on all winter roads;
+ several thousand 3D sipes give the tyre excellent handling and grip characteristics on icy and wet roads;
+ numerous longitudinal grooves in the shoulder areas and in the central part of the tread increase the tyre's stability during manoeuvring and cornering;
+ a special 'snowflake' indicator in the centre section gives an early warning of excessive tread wear and the need to change tyres;
UltraGrip Performance+ equipment
Goodyear UltraGrip Performance+ tyres feature the V-Tread directional tread design, which has been upgraded with a number of innovations. The main innovation is the design of the centre section, which is characterised by a large number of blocks that provide much better snow grip. The increase in the number of tread blocks has been achieved by reducing their size. The symmetrically arranged tread blocks contain countless thousands of 3D sipes which open up on contact with the road, creating extra grip. This solution has led to a significant improvement in tyre performance on ice.
