Powertrac Snowstar tread consists of two layers that are identical in shape but differ in their flexibility. The base layer is harder, which makes the tyre stronger, and the second layer is more flexible, which improves grip at low temperatures. In addition, the tread incorporates several thousand sipes, which significantly improve ice grip. The shoulder blocks feature a special type of sipes - suction cups- that dry the contact patch.
