The Leao Winter Defender Ice I-15 features a directional style tread pattern, with a central tread row of V-shaped blocks and side zones of solid tread blocks. The tyre itself is made of a high-quality rubber compound enriched with a whole range of elastomers. The aim is to keep the tyre supple at low temperatures. A flexible tyre grips the road surface much better. The tread blocks are densely packed with thousands of sipes in a directional style, which, replacing the studs, cut into the ice with sharp edges, forming a firm grip on the slippery surface.
