ECSTA PS71 Features

The Kumho ECSTA PS71 UHP summer tire model features a sporty, asymmetrical tread pattern. This design is found on most modern summer tires, as it combines excellent ride comfort and safety characteristics even at high speeds.

To reduce the risk of hydroplaning on wet pavement during dynamic driving, this tire model features a highly advanced drainage system. It quickly and effectively clears water from the tire’s contact patch with the road, minimizing the risk of hydroplaning.

The longitudinal, asymmetrically arranged tread blocks are made from a wear-resistant rubber compound supplemented with a series of elastomers. As is well known, a flexible tire provides much better traction and wears more evenly.
