iceGUARD SUV G075 features
TheYokohama iceGUARD SUV G075 is designed for off-road or SUV vehicles that face harsh winter driving conditions. An aggressive directional tread pattern has been developed specifically for this model, which will be an excellent ally in the fight against ice and snow.
The tyre's rubber compound is formulated with a range of innovative materials that will not only help the tyre remain flexible in extremely low temperatures, but will also dampen sound and absorb moisture, significantly improving grip on ice. Yokohama's signature Orange Oil S blend has also been added. As one of the most sticky substances found in nature, Japanese engineers have discovered that orange oil improves tyre grip on a wide range of road surfaces and helps tyres remain flexible in cold temperatures.
In addition to the aggressive tread pattern, the tread blocks incorporate sipes which, replacing the studs, cut into the ice with sharp edges, creating traction on slippery surfaces.
