BluEarth*Winter V905 features
Yokohama BluEarth*Winter V905 chooses an aggressive directional tread design to significantly improve snow and wet performance. Between the massive, symmetrically spaced tread blocks, an excellent drainage channel system cleans excess water and snow from the road contact surface, reducing the risk of aquaplaning. An increased number of 3D sipes are embedded in the tread blocks. The grooves or sipes improve grip on icy road surfaces by creating hundreds of grip channels at the same time. Improvements have also been made to the tyre's rubber compound, which is even more flexible and abrasion-resistant thanks to a range of elastomers and the latest generation of polymer compounds. The V905 excels in its ability to remain flexible at extremely low temperatures, providing excellent grip in harsh winter conditions.
