Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 Features

TheGoodyear Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 all-season tire features a classic symmetrical tread pattern. This design was chosen because it combines good winter performance with a low risk of hydroplaning in the summer.

The V-shaped tread blocks are equipped with Goodyear’s proprietary sipes. Acting much like studs, their sharp edges bite into ice and packed snow, improving traction on these slippery surfaces.

The tread and its base are made from an enhanced rubber compound. Elastomers added to the rubber allow the tire to maintain its flexibility even at low temperatures. As is well known, a flexible tire provides much better traction on the road and wears more evenly.
