This tyre model features a directional tread design. Its massive, symmetrically arranged tread blocks help to combat deep snow. The blocks are densely packed with S-shaped self-locking sipes. They open up on contact with the road, creating extra grip.
The tread blocks have nine rows of newly designed, stainless steel studs for excellent grip on ice. The studs also extend tyre life by up to 25%.
A range of elastomers have been added to the G3 Ice's rubber compound, allowing this tyre model to remain flexible in low temperatures. A flexible tyre in winter grips the road much better at low temperatures.
