Description
The Continental EcoContact 6 is a premium summer tyre. It excels in grip, manoeuvrability, wear resistance, fuel economy and ride comfort on dry and wet asphalt, even at high speeds.
Continental EcoContact 6 is available in more than 100 different sizes, from 13 to 22 inches in diameter. The choice of tread width ranges from 145 to 315 millimetres and the height ratio is between 30 and 80%. In addition, for maximum performance, tread design tends to vary between sizes. It is suitable for installation on compact cars and even trailers as well as large SUVs. A significant proportion of the sizes are designed to operate at very high speeds - up to 300 km/h.

EcoContact 6 equipment
Continental EcoContact 6 UHP or High Performance Summer tyres feature an asymmetric tread pattern whose design varies depending on the tyre size! This solution, in tandem with the asymmetric tread design, ensures excellent performance and comfort on dry and wet asphalt, even at high driving speeds.
The tyres are made from a high-quality rubber composite material based on Continental GreenChilli 2.0 technology. A key feature of the rubber compound is the use of new polymer compounds that significantly strengthen the molecular bonds between the other components of the rubber compound. As a result, the protactor elements deform less when subjected to external factors such as heating and centrifugal force. These polymers reduce heat generation and thus fuel consumption, and allow the protactor to resist wear more effectively.
Depending on the size, the tyre is offered with different tread patterns. It can include between three and five long elements in the central part. These elements are uniform and large, which together significantly increases the resistance to deformation. This prevents irregular wear and tear and increases the precision of handling. These characteristics are reinforced as the width of the tread increases, allowing the tyre to adapt to increasing loads.
