Kormoran Snow is a European-type winter tyre for passenger cars, designed for driving in mild winter conditions down to -20°C. The tyre ensures safety on slippery winter surfaces as well as on dry asphalt, while combining high aquaplaning resistance, stable control, short braking distances and a smooth, pleasant ride.

Tread characteristics

The wide drainage grooves, positioned towards the centre at a certain angle of inclination, guarantee that the contact area is quickly cleared of melting snow and water. Specially arranged annular water evacuation channels increase control stability in wet conditions. The position of the serrated slats on the outer edges of the shoulder blocks increases the permeability of the model in deep snow. Kormoran winter tyre models have a rubber compound with special elastomers and silica, which provides extra grip in wet conditions and helps to reduce rolling resistance, which directly affects fuel consumption.

The Kormoran Snow model's safety in winter weather and its compliance with countries with mandatory seasonal tyre changes is confirmed by a snowflake marking on a mountain background with three peaks (3PMSF).
