Falken WINTERPEAK F-SNOW 1 winter tyres feature an advanced, aggressive directional tread design. Between its symmetrically arranged V-shaped tread blocks is a highly developed drainage or water channel system. This helps to simultaneously keep water off the tyres' contact surface, reducing the risk of aquaplaning, and improves performance even in deep snow.

Several thousand different types of sipes are densely packed into the tread blocks. Like studs, they cut into the surface of ice and compacted snow to create traction.

Falken WINTERPEAK F-SNOW 1 also uses ACP technology in its tread design. This allows the tyre to increase the contact area with the road, shortening braking distances, improving manoeuvrability and ensuring more even wear.
