Description

The Triangle Protract TE301 summer tyre is part of a range of passenger car products specifically designed for the European driver market. What sets this tyre apart from other Triangle summer tyres is the manufacturers' desire to achieve the best possible balance between a comfortable ride and high levels of wear resistance. This is a big challenge, given the fact that a softer rubber compound is needed for a comfortable ride, while a harder compound is needed for wear resistance! Triangle TE301 is offered in dozens of sizes with diameters from 13 to 17 inches.

• Tread pattern created in 3D computer simulation. Engineers trusted computer simulations and state-of-the-art digital solutions when designing the Triangle TE301. For example, the tread design was entirely entrusted to computer simulations. Thanks to these solutions, the best tire stress distribution with road contact patch ever was achieved! This allowed a significant improvement in handling, giving the tyre a consistently reliable performance, as well as a reduction in rolling resistance, thus reducing wear and fuel consumption.
• Stable performance at any speed. Unlike most other brands in this class, the Triangle TE301 has a symmetrical directional tread pattern. It is characterised by a massive and continuous longitudinal rib arrangement in the central section. These elements are so rigid that they provide excellent grip stability at almost any speed. In addition, this design responds perfectly to the slightest steering manoeuvres, thus facilitating the driving process.
• Safety even in rainy conditions. When it comes to a tyre's water-removing system, it's rare to find a summer tyre with so many tread design features designed specifically to combat aquaplaning. Straight grooves channel water into a nearby drainage groove, and drop-shaped grooves draw water in using the pressure exerted by the weight of the vehicle, then eject it by centrifugal rotation.
