Before producing this tyre, the brand's engineers carried out a thorough study of the tyre market to find out both the strengths and weaknesses of today's most popular models and were able to create the Ilink L-Snow 96 , a budget winter tyre that combines the optimum performance characteristics in all aspects of driving.

The tread pattern has a unique design and is made of a rubber compound enriched with a range of elastomers to help the tyre remain flexible over a wide temperature range. A flexible tyre grips the road much better, and Nano Balance technology ensures that wear takes much longer to build up.

The tread pattern is designed using 3D modelling, which has enabled the creation of an asymmetric pattern with directed elements for maximum aero and hydrodynamic performance. The risk of aquaplaning has been significantly reduced and the ride has been made more comfortable and quieter.

The tread blocks are densely packed with several thousand wavy blades, which are cut into the slippery ice surface with sharp edges to create a firm grip.
