Powergy equipment

Pirelli Powergy asymmetric tread is made from a silica-based rubber compound. In addition, it contains special polymers. Thanks to these, the rubber compound has high tensile strength and adhesion properties at molecular level, regardless of driving speed and tyre temperature. This significantly increases tyre sustainability and reduces rolling resistance.

Reduced risk of aquaplaning is ensured by several features in its tread design at the same time. One of these is the widened drainage channels. These remove even very large quantities of water from the contact surface almost instantly.
