ECSTA PS71 EV features

Kumho ECSTA PS71 EV summer tyres feature a sporty asymmetric tread pattern. Design elements are arranged in such a way as to minimise rolling resistance, improving EV battery economy and reducing noise levels.

The asymmetrically arranged tread strips are made of a wear-resistant and flexible rubber alloy. The chemical elements added to it allow the tyre to retain its shape and wear resistance properties even under heavy use.

Low noise is one of the most important aspects when choosing tyres for an electric car. They do not have an internal combustion engine, so any noise is more audible in the cabin. Therefore, Kumho engineers have not only improved the tread design, but there is also a special seam inside the tyre that helps to dampen the sound.
