The position of the serrated slats on the outer edges of the shoulder blocks increases the permeability of the model in deep snow. Taurus winter tyre models feature a rubber compound with special elastomers and silica for extra grip in wet conditions and to help reduce rolling resistance, which directly affects fuel consumption.
