235/35 R20 Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4 all-season tires feature an asymmetric tread pattern with Full Active Tread technology. Individual sections of the tread each serve a specific function, yet they come together in perfect harmony to provide excellent traction both in summer on wet and dry pavement, and in winter conditions—on snow and even on ice.
The tread blocks and water drainage system utilize Advanced Tread Block technology. This significantly reduces the risk of hydroplaning at high speeds.
The asymmetrically arranged tread blocks are equipped with StabiliGrip technology sipes. This technology combines two types of sipes that interlock during braking. The sipes significantly improve traction on icy road surfaces by digging into them with their sharp edges, much like studs.
