Winter PorTran CW11 equipment

The Marshal Winter PorTran CW11 winter commercial or bus tyre features a highly aggressive, deep directional tread pattern. This tread design has been chosen to improve tyre performance in extremely harsh winter driving conditions.

The massive V-shaped tread blocks are armed with 3D sipes. They interlock under braking to increase the tyre's grip area and cut sharp edges into packed snow and ice to create a firm grip.

The outer edges of the tyres have sharp knobs which significantly improve manoeuvrability in snow. The tread itself is made of an elastomer-rich and abrasion-resistant rubber alloy. The tread is based on a high-strength carcass reinforced with several additional layers of cord or breaker, improving impact resistance and load capacity.
