UltraGrip Performance+ Features

Goodyear UltraGrip Performance+ winter tires feature an enhanced directional tread pattern. This design combines outstanding performance characteristics in wet conditions as well as on snow and slush.

The number of tread blocks has been increased, improving performance on snow and slush while significantly reducing braking distance.

A highly advanced drainage system—consisting of water channels—has been integrated between the V-shaped tread blocks. It effectively removes snow, slush, and water from the tire’s contact patch with the road, reducing the risk of hydroplaning even at high speeds.

The tire’s rubber compound is formulated using Goodyear technologies. The chemical additives incorporated into it improve wear resistance and help the tire maintain its flexibility across a wide range of temperatures.
