Multiways-C tread pattern
The Lassa Multiways-C tread design is based on the previously successful Wintus model, with a number of improvements.
Firstly, the rubber compound has been significantly improved with the aim of maintaining flexibility over a wide temperature range. A flexible tyre grips the road much better, shortening stopping distances and improving traction.
Japanese engineers have chosen to give this model a classic, symmetrical design to improve snow permeability. The tread blocks are arranged in such a way that the drainage grooves between them help to shed precipitation as much as possible, drying the contact surface. The blocks are densely packed with a large number of sipes, which significantly improves ice grip and helps to dry the contact surface.
The tread depth has been increased to make the impact-resistant tyre even more sustainable.
