The Zmax Gallopro H/T summer High-Terrain model features a relatively coarse asymmetric tread pattern. This design combines good grip and manoeuvrability on dry and wet asphalt as well as on gravel roads. In addition, the increased number of water outlets improves the tyre's performance on wet road surfaces, reducing the risk of aquaplaning.

The asymmetrically spaced tread blocks are made of a wear-resistant rubber alloy. The chemical compounds added to it allow the tyre to retain its flexibility and grip characteristics without sacrificing wear resistance.
