215/65 R16 Key Features of the Nankang Ice Activa SW-9

+ Excellent traction and short braking distances on both snow and icy road surfaces.
+ A high number of sipes, which not only improve the tire’s performance in harsh winter conditions but also extend its service life by up to 40%.
+ Low risk of hydroplaning thanks to the directional tread pattern.

Ice Activa SW-9 Features

The Nankang Ice Activa SW-9 studdablewinter tire model features a deep and aggressive directional tread pattern. This design simultaneously reduces the risk of hydroplaning and enhances traction when starting to drive. In addition, the large number of studs embedded in the tread significantly improves traction and shortens braking distances on both packed snow and ice.

The massive, V-shaped tread blocks are made from a wear-resistant rubber compound. The elastomers added to this compound help the tire adapt to low temperatures without losing flexibility. As is well known, a flexible tire provides much better traction and wears more evenly.
