BluEarth 4S AW21 features
The Yokohama BluEarth 4S AW21 all-season or m+s tyre features an advanced version of the directional tread pattern. The Japanese engineers chose this design because it combines optimum snow grip with a reduced risk of aquaplaning when driving in the warmer part of the year.
The V-shaped tread blocks are equipped with hundreds of tiny slits or sipes. Acting like studs, they help grip compacted snow and ice, cutting into slippery surfaces with sharp edges.
The tyres are made from a high-quality composite material. It is infused with a range of state-of-the-art chemical compounds that help the tyre maintain its flexibility at low temperatures. As you know, a flexible tyre grips the road much better and also wears more evenly.
