The Antares Polymax 4S all-season/winter or m+s tyre model features an improved directional tread pattern. The tread is designed with an increased number of blocks, while improving both water shedding properties and grip in snow and slush.

An efficient drainage system has been developed at the base of the V-shaped tread. It quickly clears water and snow from the tread contact surface, reducing the risk of aquaplaning and improving performance in winter conditions.

The directional tread is made of elastomer-rich rubber alloy. The chemical elements added to the rubber allow the tyre to remain flexible over a very wide temperature range. As you know, a flexible tyre grips the road much better, especially in winter, and wears more evenly.
