Description

The Marshal MW51 is an excellent quality, mid-range winter tyre. It has been developed specifically for the Northern European market and is characterised by its excellent grip characteristics.

MW51 equipment

Marshal MW51 winter tyres feature an improved directional tread pattern design. Reduced tread block size and increased number of blocks means better performance in snow, as well as better drainage of water away from the tyre contact patch, reducing the risk of aquaplaning.

The V-shaped tread blocks are armed with HoneyComb technology sipes. They are able to provide grip and manoeuvrability on ice and packed snow, cutting into slippery surfaces with sharp edges.

The MW51 tyres are made from a unique elastomer-rich rubber. The added elastomers help to maintain flexibility even at very low air and road surface temperatures. It is worth mentioning that a flexible tyre grips the road much better.

The model's safety in winter weather and its compliance with countries with compulsory seasonal tyre changes is confirmed by the snowflake marking on a mountain background with three peaks (3PMSF).
