The Kumho Ecsta HS52 summer tyre model features a sporty asymmetric tread pattern. This design combines excellent driving comfort, fuel economy and grip characteristics on dry and wet asphalt in summer.

Between the asymmetrically spaced tread block rows is a highly developed drainage system with 4 longitudinal outlets. The large number of outlets, in tandem with the tread design, significantly improves grip on wet asphalt, reducing the risk of aquaplaning.

A range of chemical compounds have been added to the tyre rubber compound to improve grip properties while also increasing abrasion resistance.
